An update

Time has flown by this past little bit. Here's a recap of what has been going on at our house.

1. June 19, 2011- It's our third anniversary! Has it been three years already? I love my life with this boy. We are pretty blessed. In celebration of our nuptials, we went to dinner and just bummed around town. We were going to go to Vegas but decided to go in July because we have 4 free nights at a hotel there. Why spend $200 just to go on the actual date of your anniversary? We did take it easy, but I love just spending time with my Dev. He did give me a pearl and diamond necklace! Ok, not a real diamond necklace, but still so pretty.

2. We went up north a couple of times. The first was to see my fam and friends. It was a very fun weekend. I got to hang out with Megs, Luke, Corykins, Tyder, Chris, Andy, and Kate and Joe. So fun. We went to Joe Vera's (a Mexican diner in Provo) and then the boys played Halo while the girls went and saw a movie. Then we hung out with my family and I got to hold my new cousin, Isabella. She is so tiny.

3. The fourf of July (like Darla says on Little Rascals). We headed up to Logan and Idaho. That weekend is Logan's cruise-in festival. They have a fair (complete with funnel cake Megs), fireworks, and a parade. The parade is just old cars dragging main. It was fun. We spent two days with our good friends, Mike and Jess Watts. We were lucky enough that they let us crash at their house. Hank was excited to see his gf, Bella. They missed each other. Then, we went to Dev's parents house. We went to Twin Lakes for a campfire, and lots of food. Hanky learned that he truly is a water dog. He never came out of the lake. He loved it! It was good to see his family.

That's about it. And no, I did not bring my camera for any of it. I need to be better. I feel like posts with no pics are boring. I'll work on it.
