The one with the oldness..

Yep, I'm old. Saturday I turned 27. 27 does not feel any different than 26. Except for while doing my birthday shopping...I lost my cell phone and keys (while looking for my phone) in two different stores and I plucked 4 gray hairs on the left side of my head. I must admit, I cried when I found them. But they have been cursed and taken care of.

My birthday was really laid back which is exactly how I like it these days. Husb has finally learned that I like all of my presents right when I wake up. He has also learned that skirts from Anthropology are always appreciated! Then I laid by the pool and painted my toes, went to lunch with my dear friend Britt, and then went to Olive Garden with the husb. The husb also surprised me with a cupcake cake and neighbors singing after dinner. I am grateful for the friends we have down here!

Life for me is pretty laid back. I went part time at my work. Let me tell you folks that I was made for part time. Its really nice to work on my house and take care of the things that I have been putting off. Husb is really busy. He is doing a lot of work with people he meets at trade shows. Which means he does not come home till late at night. I miss him most nights, but he loves his job and is doing so well. We are planning a few trips this summer. We hope to do a lot of camping. I'll keep ya'all posted!
