Yep.. a little late in posting everything. Are you surprised? Here's the skinny on Dev and I.
Christmas:
(PS... Our camera is still broke. I did take pics on my phone; however, they are in some secret file that I cannot get to. I have no idea how to access it!)
We went up north for Christmas. First stop: my parents. We went up a day before Christmas Eve to hang out and see peeps. I was able to see 2 out of the 3 loves of my life (aka: the Megan/Meagans). We had fun eating and laughing but we sure did miss our little Cotter. Christmas came and went. There was lots of food, family, and presents. Dev and I got a little spoiled this year. I ended up getting a Kindle (and Santa failed to bring the 2nd little item on my list, a baby, but hey..) and stripper heels, a costco membership, and gift cards galore. Dev got his coveted ipod sound system, shirts, gift cards, and cologne.
Our next stop was Dev's parents house. Dev got to talk to his brother Landon who is on a mission in Cali. This is his last Christmas away from home! Elder Choules comes home in March! It was fun to see all of Dev's fam. Being 7 hours away from them makes it kinda hard to see them on a regular basis. We played games and ate a lot!
New Years:
New years was quiet for us. All our friends down here were either still up north with their families or down here with their families. Apparently no one in San Jorge believes in New Year's parties. So Dev and I went to Mesquite to eat at their yummy seafood buffet. We ate and chatted for two hours. It was so fun. Then we came home, got in our jammies, and watched a movie. When midnight struck we had sparkling cider in fancy glasses. We made toasts, talked about the future, and our resolutions. Sounds kind of boring to most, but honestly, it was one of the best nights of my life. New Years is always special to us because it is the night we met. It has been three years since Dev and I met! How time flies.
Currently:
Dev is doing well in school. It finally hit him that he turns 27 this year, that I want to have a family and he wants to have a life without school so he is taking 16 credits to try and accelerate his academic career. He is a little overwhelmed, but I know he is going to do great! He is still working for Cambridge Financial. He LOVES his job. I have 3 1/2 months till I graduate. Phew! I am way excited to finally not be a student. I have spent 23 years of my life being a student. I am slowly working on my house, and making good friends down here. We are trying to stay down here after I graduate. San Jorge suits us well. Its laid back and warm. But you never know what is going to happen.

I too am so happy to see a new post on here! Are you kidding your NEw Years sounds so perfect, I am not a big partier so a nice dinner and movie at home sounds pretty much wonderful. Glad to hear you are doing well, except for waiting for a baby. It will come.....don't you worry.
sorry you didn't get the second item on your list (!), but it sounds like you have a great partner to share the joys and sadnesses with! glad you had a great holiday season.
I got a kindle also. I am a little torn between the thing. I love it! But I love my books too! It is going to be hard to balance.
It sounds like you had fun! Nest time you are up north we should get together and hang out.
yay for overloaded credits! I hate long semesters! I am jealous...I want to graduate. I hate you for having a warm environment and graduation looming! LOVE YOU!
